As we get closer to Miss America I am more at peace. It took me since 2022 to get here, to get the opportunity to show them that I am who they’re looking for and will work my absolute hardest to exceed expectations of the role. Most of all to soak in every moment, be grounded and show up every day as a woman I am proud of.

I reflect often on how this moment right now will never happen again. How I will age and reminisce on these exact memories in time. Life is too short to be consumed with doubt or comparison, so let’s go out there and be magnetic! 👑

What brings a tear to my eye is the reaction of the girls standing on that stage beside me. 🥹

I want to be the kind of woman who shows up for the people around her with genuine love and support. That’s the kind of Miss Oregon I want to be.

To me, this is what matters most… the sisterhood, the friendships, and the bonds that exist far beyond a crown or a sash.

Knowing the hearts of these women makes me want to represent this title as the very best version of myself because I truly know it could have been any one of us crowned that night. I know what it feels like to not hear your name. I know what it’s like to walk off that stage feeling like you gave everything you had.

Throughout this year, I hope to make these women proud, the ones who cheered the loudest for me after pouring their own hearts into this journey. I hope they always know that they are the heart of Miss Oregon. 🩷
