The nursery you spent months preparing, the couch where you’ll spend countless hours snuggling, the little everyday moments that might not seem significant now but will mean everything someday.

I spent the afternoon with the Beaty family as they welcomed their newest little love. From big brother and sister getting to know their baby sister, to reading books together, cuddling on the bed, and soaking up this new chapter as a family of five.

I love that in-home sessions allow kids to just be kids. There’s no pressure to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera the entire time. We get to document your family exactly as you are, in the place you call home.

A mix of film and digital photographs to preserve a season of life that changes far too quickly. Because one day, these photos won’t just show you how tiny your baby was. They’ll remind you what home looked like, how this chapter felt, and all the little moments in between. 🤍

A little bit of film, a little bit of digital, and a whole lot of love. 🤎

Spent the evening at Cannon Beach, Oregon, documenting this sweet season of life. Between the ocean breeze, the soft pastel sunset, and those quiet moments of anticipation, everything felt a little extra magical.

I love mixing film and digital photography during my sessions. The nostalgia and softness of film paired with the beautiful details of digital create a gallery that feels both timeless and true to the moment.

Fall family sessions just have my heart. 🍎🤎

I spent the evening with the Garcia family at 3 Dog C***r & Brewstillery in Ethel, Washington, wandering through the apple trees, filling baskets, letting the kids pick apples, and soaking up that warm fall light.

This location is such a little gem — an orchard filled with estate-grown apples, a beautifully restored 1932 heritage barn, and views of Mt. Rainier. It feels like the kind of place where you can actually do something together instead of just standing in front of the camera, which always makes for my favorite kind of photos.

Apple picking, snuggles, kids being kids, and a little chaos in between. 🍂 These are the family sessions I love most — photos that feel like a memory instead of just a photoshoot.

And yes, you can absolutely grab some fresh-pressed c***r after. 🍎✨

There’s something about the getting ready part of a wedding day that I’ll always love. 🤍

Linda spent her morning at the iconic Benson Hotel in Portland, surrounded by her best friends, her mom, and her grandma. Ch*****ne with the girls, slipping into her dress, mom helping with the final details, and grandma making sure everything was just right.

These are the photos that become more important with time. The quiet moments before the ceremony, the hands helping you get ready, the hugs, the laughter, and three generations together in one room.

The wedding day is so much more than the ceremony. Document the morning, too. 🥹🤍

The full cowgirl maternity fantasy for Emily 🌾🤎

We photographed this session right here on my property in Winlock, Washington, with my neighbors’ horses making the absolute perfect backdrop. We wandered through the fields, picked apples straight from my trees, soaked up that golden sunset, and let the evening unfold.

The cowboy boots, lace headscarf, horses, baby bump, and that warm country sunset… I don’t think we could have planned it any better. 🍎🐴

Getting to create this kind of magic right in my own backyard makes it even sweeter. Golden light, open fields, and a little bit of country magic. ✨🌾

This is one of those locations I could photograph year round and never get tired of it. The windswept grass, twisted trees, incredible views of the Gorge, and that golden light make every season feel a little different.

Right after the cake was cut, we snuck away for a little breather—just the two of them, wandering the streets of Portland. 🤍

And THIS is why I love building a little escape into a wedding timeline. A few quiet minutes away from the party, no audience, no rush—just newlywed energy, playing in the street and soaking in the fact that you’re officially married.

Also… give me an old Portland brick building and I am HAPPY. The texture, the industrial feel, the black and white moments, that bouquet against the brick. 😭 These two made it way too easy.

I met Kylie a little over a year ago, so when she reached out about documenting this season of their family on their farm, I couldn’t have been more excited. 🥹🌼

We spent the evening doing the things that make this place theirs — petting cows, feeding chickens, eating fresh strawberries straight from the garden, playing with their son, and soaking up that dreamy golden light. And, of course, celebrating the little one who will be joining them so soon. 🤍

One thing that was especially important to Kylie and her husband was protecting their son’s privacy. With their permission, I’ve covered his face in the images I’m sharing.

I think this is such an important reminder: your gallery is yours. Your family doesn’t owe social media access to your memories. Your photos can stay completely private, you can choose only a handful you’re comfortable with me sharing, or we can find creative ways to protect your children’s privacy while still allowing me to share the story of your session.

Shaney, Rowan, and their two little ones absolutely killed this studio session at Cream Creative Space in Portland. I love how something as simple as coordinating everyone in black against a clean, neutral studio lets all the little expressions and connections completely take over.

And THIS is why I love mini sessions. You don’t need hours in front of the camera to create a gallery that feels like your family. We can get the classic everyone-looking-at-the-camera photos, but we can also let the kids run, play, cuddle, laugh, and just be themselves.

Short, sweet, a little chaotic, and full of the moments you’ll actually want to remember. 🖤
