A note to our clients, friends, and family about Covid-19:
We are in this together. We are here for you, and want you to know we are not closing or cancelling, but rather taking steps to work together in this difficult time. We will be making some changes to our policies to try and do our part. We know this is affecting everyone, and we are here to work with you as best we can.
It's really important that everyone care for one another during this time, and we promise to care for our team as well as our clients. The health and safety of the people we love and work with is an absolute priority, and we hope society can come through together.
We want to thank all of the clients who have reached out to us and expressed their concerns and questions, we greatly appreciate such great communication in this tough time. We want to make our response public and official.
In response to the virus and mandated closures, we are making the following changes effective immediately;
-Deposits for events and weddings are now transferable to another date through the end of 2021 in the event of a mandated closure. This applies to portrait session deposits as well. We hope this eases some nerves as many of us move into the wedding season in the Northwest.
-Pending and future client deposits to save a date are 25%, lowered from 50%. We hope this not only eases the financial burden of planning a wedding during this hard time, but also makes it easier to move around in the case of a closure/reschedule.
-Up to 2 Hours of your package can be traded for a separate session in the case of a closure, to assist with many people planning smaller elopements/events, and planning the bigger celebrations in the future. For example, an 8 hour package can have a 2 hour elopement session, and then use the 6 remaining hours towards a future celebration/event in 2021.
-All prints on the site are 50% off with code "community50". This applies to ALL galleries, client and art galleries included. We want people to fill their homes with their photos, they can really brighten up your day. Client and Art galleries can be found here. https://www.jlucasphoto.com/
-In case of a mandated closure, we must follow local, state, and federal recommendations or mandates regarding groups of people during the virus. We strongly recommend following the recommendations of those professionals. The health of our team and our clients is a priority, and thus we will take all steps necessary to withhold that standard.
