Episode 3 of Faith in the Land of Song explores the story of Saint David (Dewi Sant), the patron saint of Wales.

We look at David within the world of post-Roman Christianity, Welsh monasticism, the Synod of Brefi, and the medieval traditions preserved in Rhygyfarch's Life of Saint David.

I hope those interested in Welsh and Christian history will enjoy it.

I'm excited to share Episode 2 of my documentary series, Faith in the Land of Song.

When the Roman Empire collapsed, most of Britain was thrown into uncertainty. But while an empire disappeared, something far more enduring quietly remained. The Christian faith, planted during the Roman occupation, continued to grow and would eventually shape the spiritual heritage of Wales for centuries to come.

In this episode, we explore:
The end of Roman rule in Wales
The survival of Christianity after Rome
The stories of Julius and Aaron, the first recorded Christian martyrs of Wales
How God was preparing the foundation for the remarkable history of the Welsh Church

One of the themes that has emerged while researching this series is this:
History remembers what happened. Faith remembers the God who was at work.

I hope you'll join me as we continue this journey through the remarkable history of Christianity in Wales.

After years of research in revival history, writing, revisions, and prayer, I'm excited to announce that Faith in the Northwest: Christianity and Revival in the Pacific Northwest is scheduled for release on July 1, 2026.

What began as a study of early revival history grew into a much larger story—one that follows the movement of faith across America and into the Pacific Northwest. From Cane Ridge and the Second Great Awakening, to the journey of the Four Indian Chiefs in search of the "Book of Heaven," to Jason Lee, Chief White Swan, Portland's 1905 revival, John G. Lake, the Latter Rain Movement, the Jesus Movement, and the Vineyard Movement, this book traces a remarkable historical pattern spanning more than two centuries.

Drawing from newspapers, missionary correspondence, legislative testimony, and eyewitness accounts, Faith in the Northwest is not a book about manufacturing revival. It is a historical exploration of how people recognized the work of God in their generation—and what followed when they did.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who encouraged, supported, prayed, reviewed chapters, shared ideas, and helped bring this project to completion.

The finish line is finally in sight, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
Release Date: July 1, 2026, on Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing.

Discover the untold Christian history of the Pacific Northwest through the lives of early explorers and missionaries who helped shape Oregon and the American West.

This documentary explores the lives of Jedediah Smith, a Christian explorer whose faith guided him across uncharted wilderness, and Jason Lee, the Methodist missionary who established the first mission in Oregon. Their stories represent a broader movement of frontier faith that influenced settlement, revival, and the spiritual foundations of the region.

Through the lens of faith, this film examines the interactions between Christian pioneers and Native American leaders, including Chief White Swan, and how the Book of Heaven inspired a hunger for truth among Native nations. From the Oregon Trail to the gateway of The Dalles, this heritage documentary highlights how faith and perseverance shaped the Pacific Northwest.

By exploring the intersection of Christianity, exploration, and revival history, this documentary sheds light on a powerful and often overlooked chapter of American history.
