Experiencing the total solar eclipse from the top a mountain in Rangeley, Maine yesterday was a highlight of my life. I woke up at 4am, drove 2.5 hours north, hiked up a snowy and icy path for 1.1 miles, and planted my camera at the top of a fire tower at 9am. Slowly, others joined me up there, and we spent the next ~7 hours enjoying the cloudless day. I have the sunburn to prove it! Then, just after 3:30pm, the shadow of the moon finally reached us. Logically you know that the moon is going to cover the sun and therefore everything will go dark, but to be in that spot in that moment truly takes your breath away. I couldn't have asked for a better event and I am so lucky to have checked this one off my bucket list.

Y'all know what time it is.... time to pre-order your 2022 wall art calendar! This year the price is lower, there are lots of new pictures, and design features like the little preview of the next month are back!
