Hi, I’m Nick! That guy behind the camera, haha. I guess it’s time to introduce myself and share a few of my favorite captures!

Don’t worry - I’m not going to brag about myself. Here are just a few facts:

-I have a dog. Her name is Alaska.
-I love Alaska more than anything in this world.
-Alaska is the cutest dog in the universe.
-Did I mention I love my dog?
-I am a very proud dog dad.

Okay… now that you know what I’m living for and you might be curious about the human behind the camera:

-I spent 10 years working as a polar expedition leader and photographer in the Arctic and Antarctica, explored Iceland 57 times.
-I LOVE capturing weddings and elopements. There’s something incredibly beautiful about real, raw emotions - the laughs, the nerves, the hugs. That’s the good stuff.
-I filmed a short documentary that ended up winning a few festivals.
-My work has been published in National Geographic and The New York Times.
-My dog is still amazing.
-I love building things with my own hands- I’ve remodeled 8 campers and 2 houses and countless antique furniture pieces.
-I’m an explorer at heart. I’ve visited over 70 countries and lived in 7… usually with my dog along for the ride.
-And after all that exploring, I’ve found quite a few hidden gems for perfect elopement and engagement spots all around PNW and beyond!
