As a pretty tech savvy photographer and business owner that has worked for apple 2 years and in a tech support position for over 7 years, how did I not know about Carbon Copy Cloner software! This is going to save so much time copying files from one hard drive to another for backup! WOOT WOOT.

If you have multiple hard drives that you need to mirror each other, this program will clone the hard drive and find the new files to backup each time. LIFE CHANGING as a photographer creating new files all the time with all the editing & exporting we do!

Ever heard... location, location, location?

After booking your session, the first order of business is picking out your location.

Location does matter and makes a big difference in your photos. But it is also suggested that you decide on a spot that has meaning to you. This always shows through the images and it also creates a story to the images from the connection we can see. They can automatically grab you!

It could be where you first met, got engaged, a place you enjoy, like the outdoors, or the city, or coast. Maybe your family owns a cabin or beach house.

If something doesn’t pop into your head right away, I have lots of ideas of places you might enjoy. It could be that spot you have always been wanting to see, or a theme you love and have in common with your family or spouse. Like a if you love coffee, maybe that local coffeehouse, or you love gardening maybe it’s at the local greenhouse/nursery or botanical garden, or you have a love for books so we go to the library.

Some of the most creative and fun ideas become my best work. The ones I truly love and can see the client loves as well because of the meaning behind it vs it just being a gorgeous photo.

Think of your favorite spot that tells a story. Let’s capture photos of you there!
