and insider-only specials. I graduated in August, 2009 from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California with a Bachelors degree in Advertising photography. Now living in Vancouver, WA I focus on portraiture including
engagements, weddings, senior pictures, newborn, maternity and family. I was born in San Jose, California, but grew up in Sherwood, Oregon on a daffodil farm. By learning basics of photography from my high school teacher Chad Ashley, I continued over the years to develop and explore my skills through schooling and travel. Many photographic opportunities gave way to award winning pieces that include Artist of the Month and published Brooks Institute Svara book, DVD, Dlist Magazine, personal website. Continuing to push forward in my career I work with all types of media while assisting various Portland photographers and starting her my business. On a personal note:
I enjoy life, my work, my family, and my friends. I smile a lot and laugh all the time. If I could have a farm I would. Full of dogs, cats, cows, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and pigs. What a fun dream! I love love love to cook! Its a wonderful hobby of mine. Have one older brother and one older sister. My mom and dad are still married. Didn’t own a car till I left for college. I have worked at many jobs: photography assistant, ice arena, pizza schmizza, front desk agent at hotel, flip flop shop, apple inc., and non profit testing company. I don’t like to fold my laundry. I love to sleep!
