I can’t believe August is over. The evenings are cooling down and the sun is setting earlier. Winter is coming 😞 That means we are heading into the last few months of wedding season in the PNW! We don’t want it to be over! It’s been the best season yet! Our hard drives are full to the brim, our step count is higher than ever but we enjoy every single moment!

I wanted to share a some of my favs from N&R’s wedding day a few weeks ago!

Photo dump from our happy place: Priest Lake, Idaho 🏔️🛶

This lake holds a big piece of our hearts. Here’s why we keep going back:

1. Family time! Nothing beats slowing down and connecting with the people we love most. Hang outs, family meals, games and boat time together ♥️

2. Sunrise paddle boarding. Coffee in hand, book in lap, drifting on glassy morning water. We love watching the sunrise when we are the only ones out on the lake.

3. Boat time! Finding a calm cove to float, sunbathe, swim, and just relax.

4. Early bedtimes + lazy mornings — the ultimate reset after wedding season’s dawn wake-ups and late-night editing marathons. A much needed catch up mid season!

Dom and I just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary a few days ago, and this might be our best year yet.

We were so busy we both totally forgot it was our anniversary! We were editing away and it dawned on me it was our anniversary, we didn’t celebrate officially but have some plans to celebrate after wedding season!

Here’s to another year!

Can’t wait for our weddings this weekend, we have lots happening ♥️

It’s Wednesday, people call it hump day but it’s just another editing day for us. Every day is an editing day if we aren’t at a wedding.

We have been busier than ever this summer and August is bringing some challenges with the wildfires.

The Grasshopper fire has grown and Meadows is closed and evacuated which means one of our brides is pivoting last minute for her wedding this Saturday. We are watching the fire closely because we have an Airbnb in Brightwood but thankfully we aren’t in any danger just yet but the smoke is thick out there.

Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone who has been impacted and also to the heroes out there fighting the fires - we can only imagine what it’s like to be on the front lines fighting 1000+ degree fires and putting their lives at risk to protect ours.

A little update from our world 👇

- We just wrapped up a weekend with my parents drag racing in Woodburn. Love spending time at the track watching my dad race and do his thing!
- We have a week off in August and we are heading to Priest Lake, ID. It’s been busy so we are excited to breathe, sleep and recharge for the final stretch of the busy summer season.
- 2027 bookings are in full swing. We have been filling our weekends and meeting so many new couples. The most popular date of 2027 so far is 06/26/27. More inquiries than we know what to do with and we are fully booked on the date. Feel free to pick some other weekends if you’re getting engaged and planning 😉😉
- Thanks to all the couples trusting us with their special day we have been able to donate $1,716 to The Ocean Clean Up so far this year! We are excited to see where we finish at the end of 2026!

- We are looking to invest in a laptop for on-the-go editing. Anyone out there editing with Mac Book Pro with the M5 Pro Chip? If yes, worth the investment?
