I miss the beauty of the PNW so much, if you’re looking to visit… here are some of the best waterfalls to visit on your next trip to Portland. All are located right outside of the city, along the Columbia River Gorge. 🤍

1. Multnomah Falls
2. Horsetail Falls
3. Wahkeena Falls
4. Shepperd’s Dell
5. Latourell Falls

Latourell was probably my favorite of them all, cause you can walk right up to it. Can even take a shower if you really wanted to. 😂

It can be fun, especially on a little point and shoot! We used the Ilford Sprite 35ii on our fun lil trip to San Francisco.

INCREDIBLE LOS ANGELES RESTAURANT ALERT‼️

Night + Market was introduced to me by for our first ever double date!! I was so pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered.

This was honestly some of the best Thai I’ve had in Los Angeles. Would highly recommend the Filet Mignon Satay and the Panang Neua with a side of sticky rice. Ugh— so good. 🤤

What made this place unique was just how lively it was. You could tell everyone was enjoying themselves and having the time of their life! ✨

5 things to do in Pismo Beach

If you know me, you know Pismo Beach is an annual family vacation spot! Here are some things we ALWAYS take advantage of while visiting:

1. Lunch at Splash Cafe. You’ll eat some of the best clam chowder of your life at this little joint. Oh, and there will always be a line for it too.

2. Monarch Butterfly Grove. If you’ll be in town between November-February, don’t miss this one. Imagine being surrounded by THOUSANDS of butterflies. It’s too beautiful not to see!

3. Old West Cinnamon Rolls. Okay, these are low key addicting… Like, sometimes we eat these twice in one weekend. Fresh & warm cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting… What more could you want?

4. Eat Ice Cream on the Pier. I know this sounds super basic, but its the simple things in life. You can find a frozen yogurt shop and an ice cream joint right near the pier. Pick your poison!

5. Watch the sunset on the beach. Another basic one, but any stretch of the beach in Pismo is perfect for watching the world go by with loved ones.

Bonus tip: If you’re driving from SoCal to Pismo, we almost always stop in Buellton for some Anderson’s Pea Soup!

Exactly a year ago, my family took a trip to Lake Arrowhead.

It was filled with laughter and love. We made homemade pizzas, we relaxed on the balcony, we played games.

Jeff, Sara and I walked around Heaps Peak Arboretum and it was beautiful. The lush green trees were blooming with flowers.

It’s crazy how much can change within a year. Back then I was single, stressed out over my job, and hopeful for change.

Little did I know everything was about to change.

The last week of babysitting last May, we took Copper to the Ocean Beach Dog Beach. So much fun & so many little ones running around and playing!

Aaaaaand I gotta say, Copper is a social one.

If you have a pup, I’d recommend a visit to any of the various dog beaches San Diego offers!

Just a little throwback of my cutie friend Brooke while hiking in Mammoth! 🤍

We went the summer day hiking to Upper and Lower Rainbow Falls. We enjoyed lunch on the edge of a small waterfall.

People were cliff jumping and swimming, and enjoying life. It was honestly quite refreshing after a couple months straight in quarantine at the start of COVID.

I’m not usually a big hiker, but this was well worth the views and destination if you’re around Mammoth. 🌿
