Hi, I’m Nat.

Truthfully, I never know what to do with “introduce yourself” posts because I’d much rather be behind the camera than in front of it- but it’s been a while hasn’t it?
If we’ve never met, here’s what you should know:
I genuinely love people. I’ve been told my whole life I talk to everyone like I’ve known them forever, and honestly, it’s because I usually want to. I married my great love Ryan in 2024 and have been together since 2018 (you may have seen him officiating some of my weddings and elopements), and we have two beagles, Pinto and Charlie, who run our household. I laugh loudly, I speak my mind, my glasses are always crooked, cussing is my favorite seasoning, I cry during movies, and I have big feelings about pretty much everything (explains the career path huh?)
So if you’re new here, welcome. And if you’ve been here for a while, thanks for hanging around while I continue to document some really beautiful lives.
(Now he’s a snippet of this week in Florida, the Beagle Boys, and me clocked in super seriously of course.)

I care deeply about documenting wedding days in a way that feels honest to the people living them.
Of course I’ll step in when needed. I’ll help guide portraits, fix your veil, keep family photos moving, and make sure we get the important images. I work with my couples beforehand to build timelines around what matters most to them especially.
But one thing I’ll never do is interrupt a real moment just to recreate it for the camera.
Maybe this mindset comes from my own wedding experience. Ryan and I are not huge PDA people, but during our portraits (and yes our ceremony) we were being told to kiss again, do it one more time, pause the real moment, act more romantic, etc. We left feeling awkward instead of connected. The photos were beautiful of course, but I look back on some of the photos and only remember how uncomfortable we were.
Turns out that followed me into my hardcore beliefs when it comes to my couples big days.
I never want my couples to feel like performers on their wedding day. I want you to feel present. Comfortable. Like yourselves.
I don’t want to pause those moments. I want to preserve them.
I want you to look back through your gallery years later and say:
“I can’t believe she caught that.”
“I didn’t even know that was happening.”
“That’s exactly how it felt.”

That’s the kind of photography I will choose every single time.
Relive the day- don’t relive the photoshoot !
