How do you know what type of wedding would suit you best?

Well the answer to that, is to dream.

If money were no factor, and the opinions of others didn’t exist, what would your dream wedding look like?

Would you be in the mountains exploring? Flying in a helicopter over some tropical island? Having an epic dance party for hours until your feet hurt with your best friends by your side? Maybe a combination of a couple of those things?

How would you spend your time? Who would be there with you? What would you be doing?

I often feel like we don’t dream big enough. There are so many crazy, absurd, thrilling things to do in life. And sometimes, it feels frivolous to dream big when we have so much to be grateful for- but your wedding is a once in a lifetime event- and choosing what you want that day to look like can be so hard when we are only taking the time to look outwardly. But when you look inward at your true values for your wedding day, what type of day do you see for yourself?

Sometimes, I feel like the wedding process can be so overwhelming for couples that they end up getting lost in their own cupids shuffle. But if you take some time in the beginning of the planning process to really dream, then it will be easier to create a day that really reflects YOU!

Can’t decide between having an elopement or a tradition wedding? Well, maybe you don’t have to!

One of the biggest decisions most couples have to make these days is weather or not they want to elope, or have a traditional wedding. If you are stuck in the middle of that decision, maybe you can take some inspo from H&J who decided that doing both was the way to go for them.

H&J eloped earlier this year in February, and then they had an intimate wedding later this year in June which I was lucky enough to be apart of with them.

H&J we’re blessed to truly get the best of both worlds. An intimate experience full of connection and centered around them and their relationship, as well as a meaning-full celebration with those who mattered most surrounding them. And a to top it all off, they even had a couple months between the 2 celebrations to really enjoy being newlyweds ❤️

Amisha and Anthony freaking killed their engagement shoot, and at their wedding ALLLL of their freinds and family were coming up to me telling me I made them look like movie stars, I would say I have to agree, they are definitely some cuties ☺️❤️

I am so lucky to work with such amazing couples! I literally genuinely appreciate every kind soul that I work with, and just having some reflection on that today filled me with gratitude for this crazy journey that I’ve embarked on this year.

I just want to say to everyone that I appreciate your support in every way you’ve hyped me up and filled me with confidence to do what I love, I truly couldn’t do this job without all of you amazing humans💕

Where do I even start with this incredible wedding!?
When Alicia and Brian first inquired with me, they told me they were getting married at an Air b&b, and let me tell you I was 100% not excepting to show up to this INCREDIBLE place (I literally was just thinking a little house, I need to work on my imagination lol). What was even more spectacular about Alicia & Brian’s wedding, was just the whole vibe of their intimate family gathering, watching two families meld into one is truly amazing, especially when they were literally the most open and overall kind group of people. Celebrating the love between these 2 *adorable* humans and their family was a 10/10 experience🤩💕

✨On a completely note, 2 whole months have gone by since I’ve last posted, and I have to admit I don’t really feel bad about it. As a small biz owner there’s literally always a million things that need to get done, but for me the first priority at the end of the day is taking care of my clients and making sure that they are happy. Sometimes that means that some things have to fall to the wayside. We work in a service industry and that HAS to come first. So I just want to say if you are feeling stressed out by the workload of this busy freaking year and you feel like you need to take a break from social media, take that break babes!! ❤️❤️ we are all going through it right now and it’s okay to prioritize.

✨BUT with all of that being said, the last couple of months have shown me that I need to start outsourcing (like yesterday) so I don’t have to feel like this any more 😂

Let’s talk engagement shoot locations 😎

There’s only about 1 million options for you to choose from, so it must be easy right?! 😉

Well actually, it can be! If you are feeling overwhelmed with making a decision on that “perfect location”, try to take a step back for a second and ask yourself “what is a location that’s special to us??”🥰❤️

If you can’t think of anything, that’s okay! I will be here to guide you and help you select a perfect location for your engagement shoot, and we will have a blast together! {I am supper down to adventure pretty much any where with my freaking amazing clients!!!!!}

It’s all about taking the pressure off, after all, you 2 madly-in-love humans are the most important part out of the whole process, and I can make you look hot just about anywhere 😉

Happy 4th of July!!!
I don’t really have any plans for the day, but it’s been really nice just being home and relaxing a little bit. Seems like these days there’s just always a million tasks that need to be done everyday, and I feel like sometimes we can forget to slow down and take a break every once in awhile!!

Hey everyone!! Happy Thursday :) Theres so many new people around that I wanted to take a sec to re-introduce myself🥰

I’m Kiaya, I’m 21 years old, and I live in Bay Area, CA.
Here’s some things that you should know:

1. I LOVE milk chocolate, but I hate dark chocolate. People tell me I’m nuts but it’s just too bitter for me, milk chocolate all the way!!

2. My veins are running with half blood, and the other half is coffee. I love coffee more than I probably should and I definitely drink WAY to much of it😅

3. I am obsessed with animals!!!! One of my ultimate dreams is to own a house with lots of land where I can have goats, chickens, many dogs, cats, maybe even a cow!! I don’t know if my boyfriend is supper crazy about me making all of these animals my “pets”, but I will win him over one day 😂

I am supper grateful for all of the support from all of you amazing humans ❤️ I could not be where I am today without all of the unconditional support from this wonderful community of people!

I am OBSESSED with how and engagement shoot came out 😍❤️ they were so incredibly sweet and I had such an amazing time hanging out with them and chatting during this shoot. Big shout out to the both of them for really opening up to me and allowing me to capture your love💕

Also, how cute is their pup Bandit? 🥺 he was so so sweet and honestly I fell in love with him ❤️ such a cute little family!!

I am so excited to shoot their wedding next April!!

Once again it’s TIP TUESDAY AND IM EXCITED 🤪🥰

🌈 This week, we are going to dive back into engagement sessions. Specifically, how to bring your pet along! ❤️

🌈First things first, we love our pets like they are family, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you are going to want them in every picture with you. The best way to solve this problem is to bring a freind or family member along who can watch the little cutie while you have some alone time with your other half 🥺

🌈Our fur babies can sometimes act out just when we need them to behave the most 😂 for that reason, you should definitely bring their favorite treats to help keep them behaving like perfect little angels for the whole session 🐶😇

🌈Any and all pets should be welcome! Of course, dogs are the easiest and most common pet for people to bring along on the adventure. But, have a cat? A bunny rabbit? A lizard? There’s no reason why the pets that you call family shouldn’t be welcome during your engagement shoot!

🌈Fun fact: these 2 amazing people flew all the way from the Washington DC to get married in Long Beach.
