Well friends, this isn’t the update I wanted to post 🙃 After failure to improve following my endometriosis surgery in November of last year, I went back to the drawing board trying to figure out what is wrong with me. After requesting imaging, it was found that I have a sizeable tear in my left hip labrum, exactly where I have been complaining about severe pain since 2022. It will need surgical repair this summer.
I have been dismissed by doctors and told I just needed to exercise and stretch more—two things that undoubtedly made my injury worse. Had this been caught on time I most likely wouldn’t be needing surgery, but now it has degenerated to the point I struggle with basic things like walking and sitting and need strong pain meds just to manage the constant pain. All I needed was a simple MRI. To say I am hurt and disappointed is an understatement.
The recovery is hard, 4-6+ months, which means I will not be able to take any more projects for 2026 💔 As a small business owner, this obviously sucks, but as an artist, it hurts even more. Trying to find ways to be creative while bed bound has been a huge adjustment, but something I will always pursue, because it helps me feel human.
Thank you for the support always, it truly means everything to me! I can’t wait to work with you soon🖤
