Snapped these shots of back in philly at one of the local camera shows with my M5 and his v2 50mm summilux paired with some Black Rabbit Formula 1 1600. Had it scanned and processed by the fine doods over at .filmlab.

Made these with a Pentax Spotomatic SP and 24MM 3.5 super takumar paired with some Black Rabbit Formula 1 1600. Developed and processed in house by these guys.

Snow storm? get ready

Made these photos on my last trip up. Luckily, upon my arrival one of the bigger snow storms of the year followed me. It was really nice to have the beautiful snowy scenery, but even better to leave it behind and come home to clean roads.

Shot with my M5 paired with my 40mm summicron and some Arista 200 pushed to 400. Developed with HC-110 and scanned with an epson v600.

Change the view

Made this collection with two of my regulars. My loaded with expired 220 portra 400 BnW paired with the 45mm f4 and my M5 paired with the 40mm summicron loaded with some . Developed with HC-110 and scanned with a v600.

I had both cameras with me one day and came across this old Chevy and decided to do a little comparison. Granted it’s not the same film or similar focal lengths, but this gives a good idea of the perspective difference when using 35mm versus 120 with a wide angle lens. It’s really cool to see how much different the frames look. Really goes to show, if you shoot with good glass on 35mm it can very closely replicate that medium format pop and sharpness.

Mr. Louis Mendez

Made these of Mr. Mendez while he was visiting the brooklyn film camera meet up a couple months ago with my M5 and some HP5 paired with my version 2 28mm elmarit. Developed with HC-110 and scanned with an epson v600.

Wouldn’t believe it’s the 21st century.

These photos are particularly special to me because they came from one of the first rolls of Formula1 by .filmlab. I love how this film gives the streets a particular personality. The grain, contrast and latitude make it very versatile out on the streets. I absolutely love these results so you’ll definitely be seeing more Formula 1 on my page🤌🏼
