Dear Customers, Friends, and Family of Portland Camera Service,

My name is Ashlee and I am Jayesunn’s wife. I apologize for the lack of communication these past few weeks. Jayesunn’s health has continued to decline. We are doing all we can, and I appreciate all the concern and kind words from people ever since the first announcement regarding his health issues.

I am doing what I can to help close things down and get everything finished out. One of the highest priorities is getting your cameras and equipment returned to you as soon as possible.

I will be at the shop to aid in customers picking up their cameras on Friday, May 19th from 4 pm to 6 pm, and on Saturday, May 20th from 10 am Noon. If any cameras or equipment are not picked up on those days, I will reach out to those customers and we will do whatever we can to arrange a pickup, but if you are able to come on one of these two days, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Temporary pause on major repairs

Due to health issues we are unfortunately unable to accommodate intake of major equipment repairs at this time.

We are able to offer minor repair and maintenance requests only. This includes light seal replacement, sensor cleaning, and focus calibration.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working hard with all available resources to overcome these obstacles and get back to our regular availability.

The Sony A6300 is a mirrorless digital camera announced on 3 February 2016 and features a 24 megapixel Exmor sensor with 425 phase detection autofocus points. The camera has an ISO range up to 51,200 and can shoot images at up to 11 frames per second with continuous autofocus and exposure tracking.

Minolta SRT 201 on the bench for cleaning and repair.

The Minolta SR-T 201 - labelled in USA and Canada, Minolta SR 101 in Japan, Minolta SR-T 101b in Europe and elsewhere - was one of the SLR bodies of Minolta's popular SR-T series. It was an improved version of the SR-T 101. This model camera was release in 1975 and was produced until 1977. Its new features were the hot shoe for the flash and the film memo holder on the back. Everything else stayed the same.
