Indoor shoots are growing on me! 😻

It’s totally possible to shoot inside your home 🏡 Here are some tips:

1) Have a clean space and don’t be afraid to push extra furniture out of the way.
2) Stage your shoot near a bright light source like windows, or a sliding glass door. An open front door could work too!
3) Time it when your favorite space is at its brightest, but avoid harsh, direct light that could blind you.
4) Plan around your kiddos! Get those naps in 😉
5) If all else fails, ASK YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! 😁 We can absolutely let you know if your space works for our style or if we think we can execute the job.

It dropped below 50° in my van last night, so here are some pictures from 😂❄️🚐

There’s actually a really neat story behind this one 😊 I went to Iceland with and while she was shooting with other photographers for a workshop, I asked random strangers if I could photograph them 🤩

I approached these two and asked if they spoke English and discovered they were also from the states and traveling around Iceland in a van 😍💃🏻🇺🇸

They agreed to take some photos, went back to the van to spruce up from their hike and they came back out to the waterfall with the sweetest surprise 🥰

THEY’RE PREGNANT and they were traveling with an adorable onesie, looking for a photographic opportunity to capture the big news 🥹 They asked if they could take a few pictures with it and OF COURSE I said yes 😍

It was such a pleasure to meet Aaron and and I’m wishing you two the very BEST in this next chapter 🥰

A salesman wanted to sell me steaks yesterday after selling some to my grandparents and my grandma told the guy I live in a van, so probably not 💀🤣🥩

My family has to tell people I live in a van and I just wonder what that’s like for them 🤣😂🚐
