Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the strength of those who refused to let their stories be erased.

While we honor how far we’ve come, it’s impossible to ignore that many people still face injustice, discrimination, and systems that make true freedom feel out of reach. The fight for equality, dignity, and opportunity didn’t end in 1865.

Today, I stand with empathy for all people. No matter your race, background, or identity, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and humanity.

Black pride. Brown pride. Freedom. Community. Love. Always. 🤎🖤

Happy 8th Birthday to my beautiful tweenie girl, Ava Liani! 💛✨

Yesterday, 6/14, we celebrated my youngest baby turning EIGHT, and I still can’t believe how fast time is flying. My little girl is growing right before my eyes, and every year I see more of her sweet personality, her confidence, her silliness, and that beautiful light she carries everywhere she goes.

Ava, you are my baby, my little sunshine, my sweet girl with the biggest smile and the most loving heart. You bring so much joy into our family, and I am so blessed that God chose me to be your mommy. Watching you grow is one of the greatest gifts of my life.

You are funny, smart, kind, full of energy, and already becoming your own little person with your own style, your own sass, and your own sparkle. I hope you always know how loved you are, how special you are, and how proud I am of the beautiful girl you are becoming.

Happy 8th Birthday, my Ava Liani. Mommy loves you more than words could ever say. Keep shining, keep smiling, and keep being exactly who you are. 💛
