David Schamis Talk on Sports and Wildlife Photography

The Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) invites you to join us as the Port Washington Public Library on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:30 pm for an exciting presentation by sports and wildlife photographer, David Schamis.

Schamis is a Port Washington resident and an avid sports and wildlife photographer. He has shot at all levels of sports from local youth leagues to Major League Baseball. Photographing football and lacrosse for Yale University has been his specialty. Schamis also shoots wildlife around the world, but primarily in Sands Point.

David’s work can be found at Instagram@schamisshots and on his website at www.schamisshots.com

The Photography Club of Long Island, formerly known as the Port Washington Camera Club, was founded in 1975 and hosts free monthly programs at the Port Washington Public Library as a community service from September through June each year. You are invited to enjoy photographing some nice fall scenery, and hopefully, some great color on Wednesday afternoon, November 3, at 4:00pm at Cedarmere Park overlooking Roslyn Harbor. Sunset will be at 5:48pm. The address is 225 Bryant Avenue, Roslyn, NY 11576. Cedarmere is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking.
