Yesterday millions of New Yorkers attended the New York Knicks Championship Parade. Many attendees even climbed up into the air any way they could find hoping for a better view. It was a chaotic scene. I am proud to have been able to document this moment in NY sports history through my lens. Knicks Forever 🏀🗽🌇

Earlier this summer I took a week long road trip though Appalachia crossing eight states and visiting three national parks. Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia stands up with the best of them. Photographing the wild ponies and remote mountain views of this beautiful place is an experience I will not soon forget. (scroll to the end meet another new friend we made)🐴

Did you know that President Theodore Roosevelt lived right here on Long Island? Well he did and today his estate is a national historic site and the only unit of the National Park Service located in Nassau County. Sagamore Hill is a great place to learn about Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy not only as a president and military leader but also as an explorer and conservationist. The grounds of the historic site are also a great place for hiking and wildlife photography. On my trip to the area back in March I not only got to see the home of one of my favorite presidents I also got to photograph a juvenile bald eagle and several other species 🦅🇺🇸
