STORY TIME: So, this is Kolbie! She plays T-Ball and was so excited to get her pictures taken. She was even rushing me! 🤣 I finally get set up, and get started just for sis to cry the whole time! We had to keep stopping so she could “take a walk” and so she could get “herself together”. A 30 minute shoot turned into like 2 hours. I was over it. She was over it. We were over it.! Kolbie came back from her walk and told me that I only had 5 shots left and she was done, done. Every time that camera went off, she was counting out loud. I had to tell her that I’m the photographer and I’m going to take as many pictures as I want. As I keep snapping my pictures and she continues to count to 5 (out loud), I begin to finally get a smile. Mind you, she hasn’t smiled the whole time (big attitude) and when she did, it was forced and faked. I’m pretty sure that she was out of there regardless of when she got to 5. So I gave in, and my very last shot, this is what I got! I did actually get some really great pictures of her when she was being a cry baby, but needless to say, I couldn’t let a good picture, or a smile go to waste. I’ll take the wrinkled backdrop and everything it comes with. 📷 BTW. Kolbie is my daughter.! It really do be your own kids.! 😂💕💞To see what else we got, visit my IG SGant.Photography

I’ve contemplated for years on whether or not to change my business name. “Arrogant Photography” has stuck with me since high school. I always thought it to be original, especially since the last 4 letters of “arrogant” spell “Gant” which is my last name, and yes, us Gant’s can be a bit arrogant. Lol. THEN I searched myself on Instagram and someone else had the same name. Lol. (Not so original, huh?). But some things change for the better. There are definitely more SGant’s (2 of them being my older sisters 😘) but there is only one me! Here’s to 2023! New Name. New Money.
