A hyzer flip is a disc golf shot that is thrown on a hyzer angle, but flips up to flat and flies straight or slightly turning before finishing hard to the left. It is a very popular shot among disc golfers of all skill levels because it can be used to achieve a lot of distance and accuracy.
To throw a hyzer flip, you will need to use an understable disc. Understable discs have a tendency to turn to the right when thrown, but the hyzer angle will counteract this turn and cause the disc to flip up to flat. If the disc is very understable, it may continue to turn even after it flips up.

To throw the shot, simply release the disc on a hyzer angle and snap your wrist. The snap will help to generate spin, which is essential for getting the disc to flip up. You may also need to put a little bit of extra power on the shot, as understable discs can be more difficult to control.

Sorry I've been away for a little bit but we've been in and out of the hospital with my mother in law. Luckily she's back home now and healing. If it weren't for Disc Golf Valley game this past week, I would have gone crazy at the hospital. If you haven't tried this game, I highly suggest it... so much fun!
