In April1979, I was attending Salem County Community College in the electronics field of study My Professor Robert Koval took us on a trip to the university of Delaware college library to find a topic to write a paper on the Future of Electronics Jobs. While in the Military I discovered a magazine "The Mother Earth News" published by John Shuttlesworth and The Whole Earth Catalog published by Stewart Brand. That opened my eyes to thinking about where our Energy comes from, My father lived in Elsinboro and neighbor LAC became the location of the Nuke plant. About that time, President Carter was wearing yellow over boots while touring Three Mile Island that changed America's trust in Nuke power. I wrote my report on how the sun's energy could be captured with collectors and the future of electronics would lead photo-voltics on a path of providing power from the sun for our homes. That was a strange subject out in left field, but I sometimes think out of the box and in May of 2024 i let solar company put more panels on my roof than I would need compared to my conservative usage of electrical power. At first the power company said that is too many kilowatts you will be making there but I had to tell them that if I used my late uncles woodworking Shop Smith, my Freece driers as a new way to preserve food and my new laser engraver as a business to pay for my 2021 Telluride and they agreed and approved my leap out of the box and would pay me wholesale for watts I sent them into the grid so that is why my roof will be a passive income source from October 15th and onward because I am a graduate PMHS 73 and my peers born in 1955 want to make this world better for our grand kids!

I did computer support when I was younger and bought my own domain name https://www.robmcgowan.com/ I am thinking of starting a group to teach some of what I learned. My mother was a piano instructor & my father was a teacher who instructed others the art of welding. I have gained skills in Photography, Video, Electronics, Web page design. I am getting older and while I am still around maybe someone has a question. Of course, my parents did not teach me music or welding skills before they stopped breathing. 😱🙈 ???'s
