..This morning the University of Washington Tacoma held its 13th 2019 Unity Breakfast! The affair is to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. While keeping the conversations alive, Dr. Boyce Watkins and Omari Amilli were firm with their message; and I can’t forget Jaylan Fontanilla with the moving violin performance that touched many in the audience! Today’s energy was prevalent & I know I left a better man then I came!

..This morning I had the pleasure of documenting the 2018 12th annual MLK Jr. Unity Breakfast. I felt it was fitting for my first event of the New Year to be on the beautiful campus of UWT. The staff & university are pivotable in my success and I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be apart of many awesome opportunities throughout the years! The young women and men from the Black Student Union provided a really entertaining day, there were thoughtful and woke guest speakers whom I really enjoyed. I also had the chance to meet up with some familiar faces from my time at Eastern, which is always nice! Love, along with good energy was definitely noticeable today, for it I thank you Dr. King! ~Killa 👨🏾 📸
