I always have the intention of sharing more images on here, but the reality is that I love putting my energy into helping you style your family for your session, putting together personalized location ideas, and hand editing your images so that you receive a beautiful gallery rather than choosing the perfect photo & caption for these little squares! Maybe one day I’ll have time for all the things but I guess it’s always good to have a goal to work toward! 🙃

One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is hearing the story of how your new little love arrived! Oftentimes I’m one of the first people that a family sees after having a baby other than hospital staff, and I truly love hearing all of your birth stories! Each experience is just a beautiful reminder of what a miracle babies (and their strong mothers) are!

Claire & Henry are quietly coloring together at the table and Alice is having her morning snack & nap on me. Our house is filled with the sounds of baby snores and paper ripping and Claire singing while she works. It’s peaceful, and it certainly won’t last but it sure is sweet 💕

Chicago friends! A lot of you have been asking when I’ll be returning again and I’ll be back May 8th-12th! I’ll be bringing the whole family for some time in the city so I’ll only be taking a handful of sessions this visit! Stay tuned for more info soon, I can’t wait to see you all again!

Today was one of those days that constantly felt like I was running in circles. Hours on the phone with our insurance, driving to donate toys only to realize I never put them in the car, trying to get groceries and having 2 out of 3 kids meltdown in the process. You get the idea 🫠 Trying to embrace the chaos and to-do lists and everything that goes with life these days, plus the bottle of wine & ice cream calming my name tonight!

What kind of fun can you expect at a beach session? We might see dolphins or manatees or do some splashing, and of course lots and lots of snuggles 🥰
