Some mornings are worth waking up ridiculously early for. šŸŒ…šŸ“ø

This sunrise portrait session in Ponce Inlet was basically the perfect girlsā€™ morningā€”friends, bare feet in the sand, lots of laughing, and getting cute photos together while the rest of the world was still waking up.

And honestly? You donā€™t need a birthday, engagement, graduation, or any other big milestone to have professional photos taken. Grab your best friends, pick some outfits, meet me at the beach, and letā€™s make a morning out of it.

Because your camera roll might have 4,000 pictures of each otherā€¦but how many actually have ALL of you in them? šŸ˜‚šŸ¤

I became a photographer because I wanted to take pictures.

Apparently somewhere in the fine print it also said:

Be a videographer.
Be a content creator.
Learn TikTok.
Make Reels.
Write captions.
Find trending sounds.
Post consistently.
Answer comments.
Market yourself.
Build a personal brand.
And somehow remember to actually TAKE THE PHOTOS. šŸ˜‚

Nobody warned me that running a photography business in 2026 also meant becoming a full-time content creator for my own business.

So when you see me posting another behind-the-scenes video, just know Iā€™m probably editing a gallery with one hand and trying to figure out what TikTok wants from me with the other.

But apparently the algorithm wants contentā€¦

So fine.

We met on Ormond Beach at sunrise, when the sand was still cool, the beach was nearly empty, and that soft pink-and-golden morning light was slowly appearing over the ocean.

And these two made my job EASY. The chemistry, the laughs, the way they naturally interacted with each otherā€¦ sometimes the best thing I can do as a photographer is give a little direction and then let a couple be a couple.

Sunrise beach sessions are perfect if you want something peaceful, romantic and a little more privateā€”plus, afterward you get to say you already had a whole photoshoot before most people finished their first cup of coffee. šŸ˜‚ā˜•ļø
