🌱🍊 Raw for the Solstice – Day 4 🍊🌱

I’ve noticed that most of the photos I’m sharing from this challenge are breakfast photos, and there’s a reason for that.

Mornings tend to be a little slower and more intentional. There’s time to sit down, enjoy the meal, appreciate the colors and textures, and maybe even snap a photo before the day gets moving. Lunches and dinners are often packed up and eaten on the go between work, rehearsals, meetings, and everything else life brings.

Today’s breakfast was a simple bowl of fresh pink grapefruit, banana, avocado, a drizzle of raw agave, sunflower seeds, and h**p hearts. Sweet, creamy, refreshing, and packed with nutrients. 🍌🥑🍊

One thing I’m enjoying about this challenge is the reminder to slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple things. Sometimes wellness isn’t about doing more; it’s about being more mindful of what’s already in front of us.

📸 Fuel for the body, inspiration for the soul.

🌱🥣 Raw for the Solstice – Day 3 🥣🌱

Starting Day 3 with a simple but nutrient-packed breakfast bowl.

Today’s mix included chia seeds soaked in coconut water, topped with fresh raspberries, blueberries, goji berries, a drizzle of raw honey, raw cacao powder, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. 🍓🫐✨

One thing I’m already appreciating about this challenge is how easy it is to create meals that are both nourishing and beautiful. The colors, textures, and natural sweetness make healthy eating feel less like a diet and more like an experience.

As someone passionate about both wellness and photography, I love finding inspiration in everyday moments; even a breakfast bowl can become a reminder to slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple things.

🌿 Day 3 of 21 and feeling energized, hydrated, and grateful for the journey.

🌮📸🌱 Raw for the Solstice – Day 2 🌱📸🌮

Today’s featured meal was last nights dinner: a colorful raw vegan taco salad bowl that was every bit as delicious as it was beautiful.

One of the unexpected things I’m enjoying about this 21-Day Raw for the Solstice Challenge is how vibrant the food is. The colors, textures, and fresh ingredients make every meal feel a little like a work of art. As someone who loves both wellness and photography, I find myself appreciating not only how these meals nourish the body, but also how visually appealing they are.

This taco bowl was packed with fresh vegetables, guacamole, creamy cashew sour cream, and a flavorful walnut-based taco crumble. So good, I may be having it again tonight!

Two days in, and I’m focusing less on “dieting” and more on enjoying fresh foods, staying hydrated, and appreciating the simple things.

✨ Good food fuels the body, and beauty can be found in everyday moments.

📸🌱 Raw for the Solstice: Day 1 🌱📸

One of the things I love about photography is that it encourages me to slow down and appreciate the details; the colors, textures, and beauty that are often right in front of us.

As part of a 21-Day Raw for the Solstice Challenge, I’m documenting a few moments along the journey. Not just the food itself, but the colors, patterns, and simple beauty found in everyday life.

This morning’s breakfast caught my eye with its vibrant berries, bananas, seeds, and rich natural textures. A reminder that nourishing ourselves can be beautiful too.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll probably see a few more photos like this mixed in with my usual nature, wildlife, beach, and fine art photography. It’s all part of the story; capturing the moments, big and small, that make up our lives.

✨ Finding art in the everyday.
