I photographed her in her mama’s belly just three days before she made her grand entrance, and less than a week later she was back in the studio posing like a pro. Maybe maternity sessions really are newborn training camps. 😉

Is it just me, or is summertime with kids basically survival mode? ☀️

I feel like being a parent is wild. Because no matter how tired you are... too bad. 😂

Here's your beautiful reminder that it all starts from day one.

🎉 we’re celebrating that it’s Friday and Summer. And, that currently, in Southeast Texas it is NOT raining. 😂

I got to see this orange costume in studio this year quite a few times, and it really was one of my favorites. Some of your dance instructors are nailing it with the colors this year! 🥰

I love the time in the studio with these tiny dancers.
All with such big dreams, excitement for bright lights, and sparkly costumes.

There is nothing more encouraging to your heart than sitting at any local recital watching hard work show off.

It's one thing watching some of my clients grow from newborn to toddler in my studio, and it's another watching them keep growing into their gifts and talents. I do, truly, have the BEST job.

When you book a newborn session, it's easy to focus on the baby. The tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and all those brand-new details.

But don't forget to step into a few photos too.

Because years from now, your baby won't just want to see what they looked like. They'll want to see you. They'll want to see how you held them, the way you looked at them, and the love that filled the room during those first few weeks.

Those early days are exhausting, beautiful, emotional, and fleeting. Your newborn session isn't just documenting your baby—it's preserving who you were and how it felt to love them at the very beginning.

The first 24 hours are a blur of adrenaline.

You think you’ll remember the way their skin was still peeling at the ankles or the weight of that tiny body on your chest. But the fog of postpartum is real.. and it’s fast.

I don’t come to your hospital room to just "take pictures." I come to pause the clock. I'm grabbing all of the details and the look on your face when you realize you’re new baby is finally here.

You’re doing the hard work of healing. Let me do the work of remembering.

✨ June and July Fresh 48 sessions are almost full. Send us a message to secure your date.

When someone tells me they don't want any bonnets....I cry a little inside. Truly. Real tears. 🤣

Real Question: Why do you and why do you not like bonnets on babies?

My answer: I like both bonnet and no bonnet. That's why in nearly every image, there will be a variation with a bonnet and without-so you can choose in the final image. Ultimately, I think some poses are just *better* with a bonnet, while other poses, look better with nothing on their head. So, for me, it's an art thing. And, a visual. Nothing shapes a babies face better than a properly tucked bonnet. I said what I said. 🤣🥰
