This morning, companies from the Port Chester Fire Department took a unique training opportunity doing a live burn at the Nassau County Fire Training Center on Long Island, NY. Some members from Purchase, West Harrison, Ossining, the Town of Mamaroneck, and the Village of Mamaroneck fire departments joined us in this joint training. 3 Live burns took place in this 2 story multiple dwelling training structure, units rotating what they were doing inside each evolution. This included Primary and Secondary Searches, operating numerous hose lines, incident command and safety officer, roof operations, and a lot more. This was a unique opportunity for members to take because of the size of the training center, the knowledge of the instructors, etc.
Remainder of the photos will be posted on Facebook.
