E + A trusted me back in 2021, and they have no idea how much that session meant to me.

But getting to come back and see them here, with their sweet family, it’s one of those quiet reminders of why this is so much more than a job for me.

I get to witness people’s lives not just once, but as they grow.

I think a lot of people wait for the “right” kind of weather for photos, like golden light and everything feeling easy. But honestly, some of my favorite sessions have looked like this instead. A little windy, a little messy, with a storm rolling in.

One of my favorite things about this shoot was actually the water. The way it went from completely still, like a mirror, to wild as the clouds rolled in. You could feel it changing in real time.

So heartbroken to hear about Reynisfjara today. In 2022 I had the honor of photographing this beautiful couple there the day after they eloped. I’m really grateful I got to witness it the way it was. Document the world when you can. 🖤

B and K started their mornings surrounded by those who love them most, including a few furry paws. Laughter spilled between rooms, hands fixing hair, quiet moments that didn’t need words. And when it was finally the moment for their first look, everything softened.

The way they gently wiped each other’s tears, while sharing their personal vows, promising to love each other until the end. Sealed with cheers over a very special drink and kisses from Goose and Maverick. Their entire day was wrapped in love. Stories were shared. Baseball bats were given. And they started the party off with a t-shirt toss!

It unfolded exactly as it was meant to. Full of warmth, laughter and rooted in so much love. The kind of day that stays with you long after it’s over.

S & K’s didn’t believe in sides.
They believed in circles.

Friends moved together the way they always had, naturally and instinctively. When the day traditionally asks for lines and structure, they chose closeness instead. Full parties. Full hearts. No one left out.

To me, their day felt like soft light through trees there, like the vintage plates passed hand to hand; like climbing into an old car with the windows down and nowhere you actually need to be.

The light was leaving slowly, the kind of sunset that doesn’t announce itself. Dark sand, soft wind, and the ocean mist surrounding us. The beach felt endless, quiet in a way. They walked, danced, drifted, and let the moment stretch until it softened. Nothing needed to happen for it to feel full.

Hello, 2026.

I just want to say thank you.

2025 was a year that asked a lot of me, and I’m deeply aware of how many of you met me with patience, trust, and kindness anyway. You invited me into your lives, your milestones, your quiet in-between moments. And that is something I’ll never take lightly.

To the couples, families, and friends who supported me, believed in my work, and continued to choose me, I see you, and I’m endlessly grateful for you.

I’m walking into this year steadier, softer, and more present than ever. I’m excited for what’s ahead and thankful for everyone who helped me get here.

Here’s to 2026 💛

Lately I’ve been drawn to the quiet corners, where people forget the camera’s there and just exist together.

These frames feel like that. Black and white always has a way of pulling emotion to the surface, stripping away everything but what matters. Just two people, champagne, soft laughter, and the comfort of being fully seen.
