As I reflect on the countless hours spent commuting to work last year, I'm filled with a sense of gratitude for the beauty I was lucky enough to witness each day. Driving around Lake Crescent may have been long and challenging at times, but every sunrise and sunset, every shift in the seasons, made it all worthwhile.

From the vibrant colors of autumn to the peaceful winter mornings, to the warm, golden hues of spring and summer—I was in awe every day. What a gift it has been to witness such beauty throughout the year.

Feeling inspired as the seasons begin to change again. Here are a few photos I captured last winter, and I can't wait to shoot more as fall approaches. 📸

Just under two years ago, my fiance and I road tripped up to the PNW, decided we never wanted to 'visit' it again and decided to move here. We absolutely are taken back by the sheer beauty we are experiencing!

Here are some of the favorites from last night's Northern Lights. It was my first time photographing them and it was a blast! I can't wait to try again and predictions are calling for good chances again tonight. I learned so much just shooting them the first night and can't wait to see what tonight brings.

I had a ton of fun with the Schneider Family not too long ago! It was a gorgeous afternoon out by Madison Falls. They crack me up so much! But seriously the best family ever!

My fiance and I just returned from our road trip south to California for the holidays. We drove the coasts both south and then north again.

Even though we suffered a loss during our trip, I couldn't help but see all the beauty around me. I used my camera to help capture the moments and remind me that even with the change of the tide, we are all part of the same ocean.

Hey-oh! Look who is a teaching fellow at New York Academy of Sciences this summer! I’ll be designing some marine science curriculum and going to the NMEA conference next month!

I hope everyone’s New Year is off to a great start!

I was lucky enough to spend the day in awe hiking around Falls View Canyon in the PNW. It was insanely beautiful and a prelude to 2023 and all of the beauty I hope to encounter. I have only barely begun exploring the Olympic Peninsula and know that my breath will be taken away many more times this year

I have over the last few months since moving to the PNW. Washington is “home” and I have never felt so connected to the Earth than I do now. My breath is taken away constantly. I have fallen in love with winter just as much as summer.
