Thank you for your interest in CSP...I would LOVE to have you as a client. I believe that there is a photographer for everyone…these are YOUR memories captured for years to come. Be sure you choose the photographer that best meets your needs & expectations (both artistically & financially). I offer many types of sessions for different types of budgets. Feel free to message me for a quote.
First & foremost I would like to introduce myself. My name is Crystal Slayton, I am a railroad wife, mother of 2 amazing kids and a photographer (of course). I have been shooting & growing my business since the summer of 2012. I am blessed with an amazing & supportive husband that bought my 1st camera for me. He believed in me & my dreams & for that I am so thankful. As cliche as it sounds, I have had a love of photography for as long as I can remember. I have so many great memories of me & my Grandma flipping through old photo albums and that’s when I really became obsessed with pictures & the emotion that one image could hold. Fast forward to high school....photography class got me officially HOOKED!! There was something so amazing about having the entire process from start to finish in your hands. I loved being in the dark room watching my pictures come to life from a blank piece of photo paper. To this day I still get so excited during sessions & am flooded with adrenaline when I nail that one shot I had in mind. Most of all I absolutely LOVE capturing real emotion between loved ones. If I had to pick a favorite part of photography, I would have to choose that. It doesn’t get better than raw emotion. Below is a list of important details that you should know before choosing me as your photographer. 1.) First & foremost I LOVE to capture true life, REAL emotions. I want you to have fun during your session and be able to be YOU...that's kind of the point. :) 2.) Please don't forget that photography is a form of art...no two photographers shoot & edit the same way. Please don't choose me and expect me to shoot or edit like someone else. Come to me ONLY if you LOVE my work!!! If you don't love my work...that is completely fine, no hard feelings. There is a photographer out there for everyone...so don't give up until you find the right one for YOU!! 3.) I spend a lot of time & attention to detail when it comes to editing and enjoy being able to show my artistic side while doing so. This means that while you won't have your pictures the next day, you can be assured that when you do receive them they were handled with the same love & care as each of my clients. ALL of my clients are VERY important to me...so I refuse to rush when it comes to their treasured moments & memories. 4. With that being said, please allow a minimum of three weeks for your session to be completed. (If you do have to schedule a session last minute and need an image for a card, invite, gift, etc. Please let me know at the time of scheduling. I am happy to email you (one) high resolution, edited image for that purpose.) 5. Weekend spots are limited, especially during the Fall & Spring. Consider booking ahead if you need a weekend during this time frame. 6. I am always open to listening to my client's wishes when it comes to their session....this is all about YOU so I definitely want you to have as much say-so as possible. Suggestions and questions are always welcome. :) With that being said, in the end this is my art that I want to provide to you at the highest quality of my ability. So while I am always open to suggestions, I do have the final word when it comes to locations, posing, editing, etc. It is only in the best interest of my amazing clients. You can have the most beautiful location, but if the lighting isn't right & the posing is awkward...I promise you won't be satisfied with the end result. 7.) I don't typically do re-edits. (See #2 above.) 8.) I do offer digital images (with print release). 9.) Because I do offer digital images and post sneak peeks for my clients....please, please, PLEASE be aware of the Copyright Laws & respect them. Examples of Copyright Infringement - Claiming another’s work as your own - Any manipulation (including editing) that is not done by permission - Scanning a digital picture - Downloading sneak peeks from the web Infringement of these laws could result in federal charges and/or CSP releasing you from our services and as a client permanently. 10.) To end on a positive note….I put all of my heart & soul into my work. I work long hours in the heat, in the blistering cold, and have endless nights of editing because this is what I LOVE!!! I get emotionally attached to every single client (I have some that have become more like family). I am protective of my seniors like their my own kids, I tear up on almost every engagement session when I see the love the couple shares for each other, I swoon over every single newborn & have to remind myself that I don’t need another baby every time I leave a session. Capturing the unconditional love between a mother & child (or father & child) is like heaven to me & can bring me to tears quicker than anything, and the amount of joy that fills my heart is indescribable when I capture a sweet smiling newborn, the innocence of a child playing, or a toddler running around giggling like there’s no tomorrow. THAT is what I live for, THAT is why I do what I do, and I hope THAT is the number one reason that you choose me as your photographer. Please feel free to message me on Facebook or email me at [email protected] to book your next session, receive session/package info, or to ask any questions you may have. Thank you very much!! :)
