Can I be real here?
The burnout, the imposter syndrome, the creativity stifle — it’s all SO real.
I love photography it’s my passion, my art, my pride and joy but man… it gets to you sometimes.
There’s never an end point. You never reach perfection. Art is subjective so the goal post is always moving— and running gets exhausting. You’ll never arrive. You’ll never be complete. There’s no degree for photography perfection. You constantly evolve and learn and become better— but never perfect.
You’ll never be able to please everyone at once, because not everyone likes the same art. You could be the roundest, juiciest, fuzziest peach and there will still be someone who doesn’t like peaches.
I don’t say this because of anything that has transpired, I have the most amazing community of clients. I say this because it’s the reality for anyone who produces art to put out in the world.
Sometimes we need a moment to step back, be whimsical, make magic, and stoke the creative corner of our brain once again.
✨So allow me to be a bit whimsical for a moment ✨
