After photographing more than 4,000 social events countless school environments, labor leaders and politicians, I've come to a milestone occasion in my long and happy career. Tonight I'll have the honor of photographing/documenting a 95th birthday party. I'm excited about being asked to document this incredible celebration with friends and family coming from all over the world.

It boggles me when I think of how the photo industry has changed. When I reflect upon of how long I've been a working photographer, I find myself thinking back to the era of when clients didn't believe that they could turn out the same quality work as Susan and myself. I'd do my best to come back with neat and clean photos and Susan, my wife and partner of many many years, would do her magic by spending countless hours making the photos look their absolute best by applying her skills as a retoucher. Today's clients do not want (for the most part) finished work. Most of my clients today only want all of the images either drop boxed to them or delivered on a thumb drive. The volume of finished photography has diminished to nearly zero. I find it rather sad. Here's an example of a shot I took yesterday. The original shot is on the left and a neater, cleaner image is on the right. With that siaid, I still love shooting!!! Comments?

Weddings were lots of fun to be part of twenty five years ago. All of our clients were wonderfully nice to work with and just about all of them appreciated our efforts. Thank you Robin and Andy. Many, many more years of happy anniversaries. Not only did we provide Robin and Andy with great photo memories, we turned them on to a lifetime of love and happiness with Old English Sheepdogs. We love the connection!!!
