The winter of 2026 has been on my heart for years 🤍 This December, we’re finally heading to Munich and Austria to experience the Christmas markets as a family.

Years ago, when I was a flight attendant, I was unexpectedly called in to work a flight to Germany. After we landed, my crew and I went searching for something to eat. Then I turned a corner and completely stopped in my tracks.

The streets were glowing with lights, wooden market stalls, handmade gifts, warm pastries, roasted nuts, and foods I had never seen or tasted before. It felt like walking into a Christmas movie.

I remember thinking, One day, I want my children to experience this.

Well, that day is finally here.

As we plan this trip, I’m looking for all of your recommendations. Hidden gems, restaurants, cafés, Christmas markets, bakeries, scenic spots, family-friendly activities, day trips, local traditions, and anything you think we shouldn’t miss. I want to experience these places like a local, not just as a tourist.

I’ve shared our itinerary, where we’re staying, what we’re still planning, and all the details over on my blog. I’d love for you to read it and leave your recommendations there or send me a DM.

Big news! For the past three years, my husband and I have been creating something new based on a need I’ve seen over and over in the clinic: better options for people living with pelvic organ prolapse (POP).

Say hello to POPease - underwear designed to provide pelvic support, and we’ve already had incredible feedback from our beta testers. Now we’re getting ready to launch, and we want Jacksonville locals to be models in our very first photos.

Here’s the fun part: you do NOT need modeling experience. If you’re excited about a company built to help people live life fully, and you want to be part of something meaningful from the very beginning, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for women and gender-diverse folks of all sizes, skin tones, and abilities, because every body deserves to feel supported and confident.

Must be 18+ (looking to feature people around 30-60 years old) and available for a shoot in Nocatee in late August/early September. The shoot will take about 1-2 hours of your time.

Deadline to apply: Friday August 14.

One of my least favorite things to do is be in front of the camera.
A good photographer knows how to take you out of your comfort zone and knows exactly how to pose your body frame.
They know how to make you laugh and show you all the right angles.
