The Moon is Bright This Night

Scroll break! Caught this beautiful full moon the other night and also caught the lunar eclipse at the end, although it’s not as clear. Stayed up late to get it, with the humidity so bad I could barely get a clear shot though!

Take a break, come watch the storm with me.

Still getting used to the Canon 50mm RF F1.8 STM Lens, particularly the autofocus. I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t look up what an STM lens was before I bought it so when I took it out the box I was quite confused lol.

Decided to make Thanksgiving dinner in July. No particular reason other than that it was super delicious and we needed a reason to buy Hawaiian rolls.

Tried my hand at all those fancy transitions, flashy effects, and SFX stuff. How’d I do for my first attempt?

A Moment for Reflection

Trying to write more in my journals nowadays, feels like my head is too full of thoughts and I need to dump them out on a page. With its leather binding, weathered pages, and a scratchy fine tip pen working its magic, I felt this was a moment to be captured.

A Blue Dress

Macy and I took a trip down to Kathryn Abbey Hannna Park yesterday. Macys had this dream of a Photoshoot with her wearing this specific blue dress and laying amongst the waves like a mermaid washed upon the shore for over a year now and we finally got the chance to do it.

This trip was a difficult excursion to be honest. Macy tripped and almost twisted her ankle, she burnt her feet on the sand at the beach, I brought the wrong shoes and almost ruined them, and I lost my engagement ring and only by some miracle did I actually go back to the beach and find it buried in the sand.

Overall I’m glad we went, but we’re sunburnt, tired, and ready to relax for a bit.

Washed Upon the Shore

Macy has had this dream of a Photoshoot of her in this specific blue dress in the ocean for over a year. I don’t think I quite captured her exact dream, but dear lord if she isn’t beautiful in these photos.

It was a rough excursion I’m not gonna lie. Macy tripped on the hike and almost twisted her ankle, we didn’t bring extra shoes so she burnt her feet on the sand when we got to the beach, and I even lost my engagement ring in the sand and almost threw up before I went back and found it.

We are sunburnt, tired, and sore. Looking at these pictures though makes it all worth it.

Stop stressing about making dinner and watch us make the laziest meal in existence. Ground beef, cheese, salsa, and chips. That’s all you need to have a cheap cozy date night in.
