it’s truly so special to have clients that trust you enough to drive 13 hours away to capture their elopement. Taryn + Kaden are the kindest, most thoughtful people in the entire world. Our morning started off stress free and slow getting ready, soaking all the small moments in. We started our one hour journey up to Emerald Lake and when i tell you this is the most beautiful drive/place i have ever been to i SINCERELY mean it! There used to be a glacier that you had to hike over to get to emerald lake but since it is melted now there are roads you can take to get there but they are so narrow that if there was another car coming your way someone had to back up to let the other through! i would lie if i didn’t say i wasn’t a little bit scared because looking down over the edge with no railing 2 feet away was an insane experience! Once we arrived to Emerald lake we started our climb up a very steep trail to get to our picture spot and once we got up there and we turned around and looked out over the water we were just in awe of the view, i mean it was incredible. We hiked back down after a few minutes to start the ceremony so that the family didn’t have to hike so far up! When we were about to leave the incredibly kind Gina Rose English offered to let us use their kayaks for pictures and I am so glad that Taryn + Kaden took them up on their offer because I genuinely think those are some of the BEST photos i have ever taken, like i want them hung up in my house 🤭 After we were done at the lake Taryn + Kaden decided they wanted to go back into town to a little nice cream stand, CHILLBERGCB , that they found a few days before (SO GOOD BTW). I wish everyone could have this wedding day experience, stress free, care free, so smooth and spontaneous. wanna hike up this way? sure. wanna get in theses kayaks and paddle out for a picture? why not! wanna get ice cream? YES!
Truly one of the biggest honors of my life.
I will have immense love for you both forever 🫶🏼
