It is with the deepest of sadness that we share the passing of our longtime photographer, planner, handyman, cabinet builder, computer wizard, and friend, Ed Lowe.

Ed has been a part of the Mason County community since 1995 and has been helping us out at the Chamber since 1997. Ed was the recipient of the Chamber Community Service Award in 2007, is a past recipient of the Presidential Volunteer of the Year, and the Main Street Volunteer of the year. He has been photographing every major Mason County event for twenty-five plus years and has accumulated over 500,000 digital pictures, stating he is "Recording Tomorrow’s History”.

Ed has also been involved with Main Street Point Pleasant, the Farm Museum, the Tourism Committee, the River Museum, Fort Randolph, the Tu-Endie-Wei Park, the Regatta, the DAR & SAR along with Battle Days, and with so many other organizations.

Ed has left a legacy of community involvement like no other and he will certainly be missed by his many friends and colleagues in Mason County.
