Hi there! I am Kate and one of my favorite things about being a photographer is capturing the seasons of life that pass faster than we ever expect....pets, sports, and high school seniors. As a former teacher and coach, I can totally relate to how quickly the senior year season comes and goes. Sports seasons feel like they just begin before theyā€™re suddenly over. And then there are the seasons tha

t shape our everyday lives ā€” the ones spent with our pets, who give us a lifetime of love in a season thatā€™s far too short. Education, sports, and animals have shaped so many seasons of my own life ā€” and getting to walk alongside others as they live theirs is where the real magic happens.

My goal heading into year three as a senior photographer is to get even more identity-based and boost my images with off camera flash with every session.

I get it ā€” the trend right now is the cinematic, grainy, dreamy feel, and I love it too. Iā€™ll absolutely still include it. But hear me out: in 30 years, when you look back at your senior photos, I want you to remember who you actually were. What you were passionate about, what mattered to you, your hobbies, your sports, your desires and goals.

Bring your pets. Bring your vehicles. Bring the things tied to where youā€™re headed next, your faith, your hobbies, a location that means something, the people who matter, your collections ā€” and so much more.

Confession Time! šŸ¤Ŗ Throughout my life, I have always been extremely hard on myself about being perfect and making sure I donā€™t let anyone down.

But Iā€™ve had to learn something important becoming a photographer. I donā€™t have to be a perfectionist to create a meaningful experience. My ultimate goal will always be to make sure my clients feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated.

I want every senior I work with in Pocatello and Southern Idaho to walk away with more than just a few images they love. I want them to know they were heard, seen, and valued ā€” and that they had some fun along the way.

Being a senior has so many emotions along with it, and being in front of a camera can feel vulnerable and scary. My job is to help ease that feeling and show them how amazing they already are.

As I keep learning and growing on the business and technical side of things, my mission never changes: itā€™s always about my clients, and giving them the best experience I possibly can, while capturing who they truly are.
