I can’t even describe to you what an honor it was to take this incredible girl’s photos. Libbie gave me permission to share a little bit of her story.

On May 8th, 2023, Libbie was hit by a car in the crosswalk of Hawthorne & Jensen, right in front of K&B Kwik Stop. She spent a lot of time in the hospital & rehab and she was told at the time that they didn’t think she would be able to graduate college. But here she is. Defying the odds.

As a symbol of overcoming she told me she wanted to do some of her graduation photos at that exact crosswalk and I was immediately down!

The strength this girl exudes is mind blowing and I’m so beyond proud to know her. You only have to be around her for .5 seconds and you know she is just the sweetest spirit. Libbie, thank you again for trusting me to bring your vision to life. 🤎 All the love for you beautiful girl!

I’m so damn grateful for these two. They’ve truly been here since the beginning.
They’ve been here since not long after I picked the camera up & I’ve gotten to be there for so many of their important life milestones.
I’ve grateful to have been by their side, and to have had them be right by my side.
It’s been so fun to watch their family grow and always an honor to capture these types of moments for people, but especially for people that I love so dearly.
