Today we celebrate Hope, who just graduated from Plymouth High School! šŸŽ“

One of Hope’s biggest accomplishments senior year was receiving the DAR Good Citizens Award for Plymouth High School, an honor that reflects qualities like leadership, dependability, service, and character. Such an incredible achievement and so deserving for a young woman who has shown us her perseverance!

One piece of advice Hope would give next year’s seniors: don’t be afraid to reach out for help. I love that reminder because senior year can feel exciting, overwhelming, emotional, and full of pressure all at once — and sometimes the strongest thing you can do is lean on the people who care about you.

This fall, Hope plans to attend UW–La Crosse to major in psychology as she begins her next chapter.

Hope, congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished and the person you’ve become along the way. I’m so excited for all that’s ahead for you. ✨

Help me congratulate Hope below!

Today we celebrate Mason šŸŽ“

Mason graduates this evening from Pulaski High School! I've had the privilege of photographing him since he was just a tiny little guy, which makes this one feel especially emotional.

Some people have a way of quietly showing you who they are — not through big words or big moments, but through the way they move through the world. Mason has always been one of those people.

Mason is the kind of person who notices when someone could use help. The kind who jumps in to help a stranger, without being asked. The kind who works hard, doesn't complain, and genuinely cares about people.

Over the years I've loved watching him try new things, step outside his comfort zone, spend time outdoors, and become more and more himself. He is curious, loves a good adventure, and has more perseverance and determination than people may ever realize.

Mason—you made it! I am so incredibly proud of you and excited to see where life takes you next.

Always remember, the best stories don't come with a map.

Please help me congratulate Mason below šŸŽ“

Senior year feels weird in the best and hardest ways.

You have pieces of your future all figured out.
And other pieces that still feel like giant question marks.

Somewhere between excitement, anticipation, confidence, uncertainty, and all the in-between...is you.

Still changing.
Still becoming.

This is more than just a milestone. This is an incredible season of growth that you'll want to remember forever.

Today we celebrate Allison šŸŽ“

Allison graduates from Sheboygan Area Lutheran High this evening!

One piece of advice Allison would give next year’s seniors: "make time to do stuff with your friends."

And honestly? That feels like such a good reminder for life too.

Allison's senior year was filled with accomplishments worth celebrating, including qualifying for state music festival for both her clarinet solo and with her school jazz ensemble — such an exciting achievement and a reflection of the dedication and talent she’s poured into what she loves.

Next up: Allison is headed to Luther College where she'll study political science and psychology, and continue playing clarinet!

So excited for everything ahead and all the places life takes you, Allison. Congratulations on all you've accomplished and this next chapter waiting for you.

Please help me congratulate Allison in the comments below! ✨

There’s something about spring that feels like becoming.

Everything is waking back up. Stretching toward the light. Quietly changing.

And senior year feels a little like that too.

Standing in the in-between — not quite who you were, not quite who you’ll become next.

There’s excitement and anticipation. Confidence and uncertainty. Pieces of yourself still unfolding.

Maybe that’s why apple blossoms only being here for a short time feels fitting somehow.

Beautiful things don’t always last forever.

But they do deserve to be noticed while they’re here.

Senior year is full of big moments…but I vote we celebrate the little ones too.

šŸ© Donut date before school? Why not.
✨ Pink sprinkles? Obviously.
šŸ“øTaking photos just for fun? Absolutely.

Your senior year should feel like more than just checking boxes. It should feel like laughter, personality, and all the main character moments you can dream up.

Honestly, some of the best memories happen from the fun stuff you almost talked yourself out of. Remeber, senior year only happens once!

Nobody puts "the Tuesday we ate salad and stuffing for dinner because everything went sideways" on the wall (that's a true story in our home).

But maybe they should.

International Family Day isn't really about your highlight reel.

It's about the accumulation of everyday ordinary moments — the Sunday morning pancake breakfasts that nobody photographed, the tiny hand that fit perfectly in yours before it didn't anymore, the version of your child that existed for exactly six months and then quietly disappeared into the next one.

We offer family photoshoots NOT as a way to document perfection...
but to interrupt the forgetting.

If there's a season of your life happening right now that you'd regret not having — we'de love to be there for it.

Somehow, yesterday marked three years since Malakai’s gotcha day!

It slipped by without a big celebration. But I definitely spent some time reflecting on just how blessed we are, and how much life can change in a few years.

Just four short years ago, we were in a completely different season. I was dreaming about becoming a mom. And while of course it was challenging not having any control over the adoption timeline or process, I never let go of the knowing that somehow, some way, we would eventurally find each other.

Now this little boy who once existed only in our hopes and dreams is here filling up our days with laughter, questions, chaos, imagination, and so much love.

Happy gotcha day my sweet boy!

Hey, I’m Rebecca.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you probably know that I've been recently talking more about following my heart, honoring my path, and leaning into the version of myself and my work that feels most true.

So I took these updated headshots recently (professional selfies? šŸ˜‚) because I wanted images that reflect this new chapter.

And honestly, being in front of the camera still doesn’t come naturally to me either.

I’ve had beautiful photos taken over the years, but this feels like a season where I’m finally letting myself show up a little more fully and honestly in them.

I turned on music. Let myself move around. Embraced my weirdness a little bit. Let myself go to a happy place instead of overthinking every little thing.

And that’s exactly what I hope to help other people do too when they step in front of my camera.

This was never about being photogenic.

It’s about quieting down all the voices telling you you’re not good enough for one reason or another. Seeing yourself through a softer lens for once.

That’s what I’m learning, and I invite you to take that journey along with me.
