ARTIST STATEMENT: ROB DUNN – LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHER
My photographs depict the everyday contrasts that I believe we take for granted. They are local, possibly recognizable landscapes that you may have walked through or driven by but have never noticed them in a certain light. My photographs rely on cloud formations, indirect lines, and the movement of water to
create an aesthetic that I find moves you away from the mundane rock on a beach that I believe we are all accustomed to seeing. BIO: ROB DUNN
Rob Dunn was born in Rockland MA and attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, receiving a B.F.A. in photography in 2001 where he focused on photographing landscapes using a large format field camera. He currently resides in Plymouth MA with his wife Maria and two young sons where he spends his mornings photographing the ever changing beaches of Manomet. Contact:
