I think it’s time for a reintroduction 💌⭐️🌿
Hi! I’m Sofiya (Sof for short) and I am a Boston based wedding filmmaker serving cool + fun couples across New England.
I take a very documentary, story driven approach to wedding films with a nostalgic, home video feel. I focus on capturing the real, in between moments exactly as they unfold. The laughs, the tears, the quiet hand squeezes, and all the little interactions between you, your family, and your guests. I’m very audio focused, so all those meaningful words, reactions, and ambient moments are a huge part of how your story is told. Nothing is staged or overly directed. 🕊️
Also! New and improved website! I’ve gotten a few questions regarding the change from photo + video to just video. Starting in 2027, I am only focusing on wedding films. Maybe at some point I will go back to photo, but for now, I am going to put all my heart and soul into wedding videography. Wedding photography always will have a special place in my heart, but to best serve my couples with allllll the creative energy floating within my brain, I found it best to focus on one. 💫💗
So for my 2026 wedding photography couples, I am SO stoked to close that chapter with a bang because you all are so dang cool!!! 💌
SLS is going in the direction of more authentic, more film, more real moments. I have always been so drawn to old home videos, old romance movies from the 80s + 90s, and I want to capture that essence and feeling within my films.
