Went out to photograph some bald eagles, and ended up seeing as many pelicans as I did eagles. Turns out the warm weather kept nearly the entire river thawed so there was a lower concentration of birds at the dam. All in all still a great trip!

September and October have been quite busy and I still have more to go! In the last month and half, I've shot two weddings, two senior portrait sessions, one local band, and one super adorable nine month old baby with his cousins. On tap for this weekend is an engagement shoot and helping a friend with family photos. I am even squeezing in a photo session for my own personal use downtown. Teaser photos will be posted of all of my recent photo shoots soon. My camera is all dusted off and ready for more action, so let me know if you have a need for pictures - from family pictures to weddings and everything in between!

Had an opportunity to have lunch with the great nature photographer Tom Mangelsen today in Galena. Rounded out a beautiful day capturing some fall color with Holly.

Gearing up for an afternoon wedding at Anderson Japanese Gardens today. Should be a gorgeous day as long as the rain stays South.

FedEx dropped off some Epson 20" wide photo paper for the printer I'll be taking delivery of Friday afternoon. The best thing is it can actually print over twice that wide, but I got a great deal on this roll!
