I made it through our first week back at homeschooling! The week where I get all the work done and I feel like I’m killing it in the teacher department. I spent lots of time with this munchkin, singing songs about the days of the week and the months of the year. We worked on our constants and vowels. We used a number line for addition. It was beautiful. Whelp…this kiddo will always be perfect to me, but I doubt the rest of the school year will be as Pinterest-worthy at these past four days. C’est la vie first week. I’ll see you next year!

(psst…it’s okay. I know she will be fine. She’ll keep learning. It’s what humans were designed for. But that’s a diatribe for another day).
