Meet Amber:
First of all I want to thank you for taking the time to look into my work! My name is Amber McGinnis and I am a wife to my best friend Sean, and a mother to 5 amazing kiddos, Havannah, Isabella, Shane, Steele & Fearghus. I know it takes a lot of patience to photograph little ones, they never stop moving. I've grown up in Missouri my whole life and we now live in There Pleasant Hill. I

am a licensed Cosmetologist and I still love to do hair and makeup. I do offer those services with all of my photography sessions. I have a portable studio so I can set up an indoor studio wherever we decide to have our photo shoot. I also love to photograph outdoors with the natural sunlight, I have many props and I invest in more all the time. We can setup and have sessions anywhere and get the best of both worlds. I have been interested in photography all my life but just recently been able to expand into what I love thanks to my wonderful husband, he surprised me with my studio and camera for my birthday a few years ago. He is very supportive in my decision in photography and he allows me to stay at home with my kids so my schedule is open to fit your needs. I don't have specific portraiture's that I specialize in, I love them all! To ease some nerves, I have taken a few photography classes in the past and I know my camera very well. Everyday there is still always something I can learn, I am always looking into more classes and ways that I can strive to give you the memories that you will for sure cherish for a lifetime. Which is where I got my photography name A Thousand Words Photography by Amber McGinnis because I truly believe that a picture is worth a thousand words!
