Some love stories are unforgettable… and this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

Congratulations to the sweetest couple on your marriage! It was such an honor to capture the beginning of this new chapter together in the breathtaking snow-capped mountains!

But can we just take a moment for this incredible bride? She hiked 3.5 miles uphill, through the snow, in heels, while pregnant… and never complained once. Not a single time. She smiled the entire way, embraced every moment, and absolutely rocked it. She’s an actual rockstar.

The best part? They came all the way from Tennessee as clients and left as new friends of mine. Those are the kinds of stories that make me love what I do.

Congratulations again, you two. I can’t wait to watch your family grow, and I’m so thankful our paths crossed. ❤️

First and foremost, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help through rescues, supply donations, food donations, countless acts of kindness and support for our community during this devastating time.

As our community begins the long process of cleaning up after this catastrophic flood, I can’t stop thinking about the children.

Many of these kids have lost everything—their clothes, shoes, books, stuffed animals, favorite toys, and the little things that made them feel safe and comfortable. Not to mention how far from normal life has been for them these past few days.

As a mom, my heart breaks thinking about a child trying to make sense of all of this. It has to be so hard for their little minds to understand. 🥺

With school approaching quickly, many families are also facing the reality of rebuilding their homes and replacing belongings, often without flood insurance. The financial burden is overwhelming, and I’d love to help lighten that load however we can, as well.

I’m hoping to put together Children’s Comfort Baskets for local kids affected by the flood. These baskets will include age-appropriate toys, books, stuffed animals, coloring supplies, favorite snacks, and other items to help bring a little joy and normalcy back into their lives. I’d also love to provide school clothes and gift cards to help parents prepare for the upcoming school year.

I will be accepting:

🧸 New or gently used toys
📚 Well-conditioned books
🎨 Coloring books, crayons, markers, and activity supplies
👕 Children’s clothing of all sizes - including school clothes
👟 Children’s shoes of all sizes
🧸 Stuffed animals
💳 Gift cards to Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Children’s Place, Amazon, etc.

I will also be accepting monetary donations, and I will personally shop for items to help fill these baskets for local children.

As a thank you, every $10 donated will earn 1 entry into a giveaway for a FREE session of your choice with Erica Dady Photography. Physical item donations will also receive one entry.

For example:
📸 $10 donation = 1 entry
📸 $20 donation = 2 entries
📸 $50 donation = 5 entries
📸 $100 donation = 10 entries

More importantly than the giveaway, every dollar donated will go directly toward helping local children who have lost so much during this flood.

To ensure complete transparency, I have created a separate Cash App account dedicated solely to this effort. Every donation received through these accounts will be used for the children in our community.
