I found a good opportunity to get the Moon lined up with the top of a church; this is the cross on top of Family Worship Center.

I was a bit rushed for this shot, as I literally tried this last minute. I do plan on trying this again, I need to be further from the church so that the I can zoom up more and make the Moon much larger on top of the cross.

First Quarter Moon | March 25, 2026

I realized that I don't really image the Moon like I used to back then, so here is the half moon in the evening sky. Taken with HRPO's telescope, I had lots of fun imaging this, and I will post a video of it as well.

The planet Jupiter with its moon Io | March 6, 2026

I captured this with HRPO's large 20 inch reflecting telescope. Photographed with my ZWO ASI585, my footage came out quite nice, but got fuzzy when a 3x Barlow was added.

Probably the first time I ever caught any blueish colors on clouds, but I did notice through the live view some dark spt on the bottom cloud band. I thought it was a shadow transit, but there were no moons nearby, and Io's shadow had not passed for another 4 hours after that. I had a look on Stellarium, the Great Red Spot was on the opposite side, and this current dark spot was not showing up on the program, not sure if its something new or not.

Such a firery sunset captured on Tuesday evening!

The clouds were reflecting so much light from the Sun, that even being 6° above the horizon, it was still too bright to see anything. Thankfully, it worked in my favor, since I was shooting at F/16 - 1/8000 - ISO 50

Capturing this just only encourages me more to photograph more sunsets. Everyone of them is always so different, so unique, and never the same look.

The Sun in H-Alpha | Feb 3, 2026

During this time of the Sun having a massive active region (AR4366) releasing lots of very powerful solar flares, I captured lots of detail across the whole area! Check out the massive prominences shooting out from the Sun, the filaments on the right side, and we have AR4366 sunspot just on the lower middle.

Shot with ZWO ASI535 through HRPO's Coronado Solar Max II 90mm Refractor.

H-Alpha Sun Mosaic |

PRINTS AVAILABLE IN MY LINKS:

This what the Sun looked like during the major storm on January 19, 2025. The cluster in the center is what launched a powerful solar flare, which is why people could see the Aurora Borealis as far south as Florida.

My first try at a mosaic. This is a combination on 2 sections of the Sun, stacked, processed, stretched, combined, and colorized.

Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) captured on Oct 27th

This a re-stacked and processed session I captured of Comet Lemmon just a few months ago. I was able to add the stars back into the frame, and bring out more natural detail of the gas tail.

Regardless of the amount of light pollution I have, I still tried my best here to capture this bright comet, and was actually shocked of how much of the gas tail I caught. The comet shines around mag +4.5 and is visible to the naked eye in a really dark sky, but I could see the coma with my 15x70 binoculars.

Here is a re-process of the Sadr Region (IC1318) in the constellation Cygnus the Swan.

I'm only going through my bad sessions and trying to stack and process them again, just to fix them up a little bit. This time, I put the starless version at the front, I really liked the way it turned out compared to one with the stars, it adds lots of contrast to the nebulae. This is a 5 hour total exposure I imaged back in July of 2024.

Stacked in SIRIL, processed in SIRIL and Photoshop.

Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) | Oct 30, 2025

Here is a re-processed image of Comet Lemmon I took a few months ago! This time, I managed to add the stars back into the frame, while also pulling in more structure from gas tail. It's a much longer process when stacking comets in SIRIL, but I find it's worth it.

The comet was shining around +4.5, very dim under an extemely dark sky, but I couldn't even with my bright sky, except in a pair of binoculars. The gas tail wasn't visible, but the dust tail shone very nice with the bright coma.
