We had the perfect beach day for this brother-and-sister teen photoshoot! It wasn’t too hot, the sun wasn’t too bright, and we even had a little breeze — basically, the perfect South Florida combination. And somehow, the rain even stayed away until the very end of our session!

Meyer and Maren were so natural in front of the camera, and their playful sibling dynamic made photographing them so much fun! I loved getting to spend time with them, getting to know their personalities and capturing this special time in their lives. And, I’m excited that I get to see them again next month for their big celebration! Enjoy your Sneak Peek! xoxo

Oh, what a night!

Emily’s Wicked-themed Bat Mitzvah was an incredible celebration from beginning to end. Her morning service was especially beautiful, made even more meaningful by hearing Emily’s gorgeous voice as she recited her prayers and read from the Torah. It was such a special moment to witness and a beautiful reflection of how much this day meant to her and her family.

And then came the party!

The evening celebration was so gorgeous and so much fun! From the stunning pink and green Wicked-inspired décor to the incredible energy that filled the room, every detail came together beautifully. But more than anything, it was the love and excitement surrounding Emily that made the night so special. Her family and friends were there to celebrate this amazing milestone with her, and you could truly feel the joy in the room.

It was a night filled with laughter, love, dancing, and so many unforgettable moments — the perfect celebration for an unforgettable girl!

This photoshoot could have definitely gone either way (as I’ve had my own share of Pinterest fails in the past), but I am so happy with these images for Emily! For the first session, Emily’s mom, Stacey, and I decided to create our own flower field at a park, since South Florida is VERY limited on flower fields (: After watching a TikTok, Stacey ordered and purchased a TON of silk and real flowers, and we set out to create our field - with the results below. It was definitely a labor of love, we had a fun, creative, sweaty, bug-bitten time, but I can honestly say it was worth it to have these beautiful photos of Emily.

For our second shoot, we went to the very beautiful and trendy restaurant, Timbr, in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. They were beyond gracious to let us photograph in their flower room, and these photos are the perfect accompaniment to our flower field. Emily was amazing, fun, and gorgeous, and I cannot wait to photograph her bat mitzvah celebration this weekend!!

Neon lights, pastel booths, and a delicious ice cream shake—sometimes the best photos happen when you just go out for a treat!

We took a trip to a local ice cream parlor for a recent teen portrait session, using the bold colors and fun decor to create a vibrant backdrop. And it was amazing! Loved Talyn’s style, her fun personality, and this shoot! She couldn’t be more adorable, and this place was the perfect spot for her.

Portrait sessions should feel like hanging out, and choosing a fun spot lets your teen's real style and spirit shine through naturally.

There’s something about photographing a teen in the city that feels so stylish and exciting. I loved this senior photoshoot with Olivia and was so happy to find new spots in Fort Lauderdale to use as backdrops. Fort Lauderdale seems to be ever-changing, which makes photoshoots in the city so inspiring.

Olivia brought such effortless style and confidence to every area we shot in. Whether she was laughing candidly or posing down a city street, her personality shone through instantly.
