I just want to say thank you to Marissa and Jace for bringing sunshine to my boys today. ☀️🩷

My little guy LOVES trucks — honestly, it’s probably my fault for watching Talladega Nights with him too many times because now he always wants to “go fast” 😂🏁

Listen… your truck shoot might come with a sunset backdrop and an excited 6-year-old wanting to sit next to his momma while she takes photos. And honestly? Most people end up loving it.

Not only did my clients not mind Jasper sitting on the tailgate while I did the shoot, they invited him and his brother into the back of the truck to ride down to our gate. To some people it may seem small, but to us it meant everything.

Sometimes my boys are in the background laughing, stimming, asking questions, wanting to ride in the truck, or just soaking up the excitement of the day and I’m forever thankful for the people who embrace that instead of being uncomfortable with it.

Those little acts of kindness matter more than people know. They remind families like ours that our kids belong here too. 🩷

I’ve been quiet lately… and that’s because I’m deep in writing Shadow Trials: Book Six — the next chapter in The Sacred Grove Series.
