Some of my very favorite sessions are in your home. In your happy place!

A few years ago my husband came home from work on a Friday and expressed how delighted he was that the next day was Saturday. He was thrilled the weekend had arrived and he would have a couple days "off." I processed his comment and let it stew in my head for the remainder of the evening. Later that night after WE put our daughter to bed I teared up and told him everyday is just a "Tuesday" for me. I cook, I clean, I change diapers, I shower with a little person watching, yada, yada, yada. I explained to him how I never get a day "off" and it must be nice to have a weekend with nothing to do.

Radio silent.

I was wrong. One hundred percent wrong. My life right now is more than I ever dreamed of. My husband doesn't get a day "off" either. He gets a couple of days away from his desk job, but after a very short commute home he begins his other job. His favorite job.

Now, fast forward a few years.

Last Tuesday my daughter and I went to the gym and then the grocery store. When we got home we put music on and made lunch. We were laughing, singing, and dancing in the kitchen. While I was putting away the eggs I dropped one on the floor. We laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

We made memories over music and a broken egg and it was just a "typical Tuesday."

My husband and I, like every parent, wish we could stop time. Every parent with adult children offers the advice "don't blink." One day we will miss cleaning up playrooms, runny noses, and hunting for stinky sneakers. We will also miss the cuddles and the kids running through the house screaming "DADDY" or "MOMMY" as we walk through the front door.

This life we all have been given is precious and it goes by too fast. Each and everyday is a blessing and I want to capture your "typical Tuesday." What does your normal look like? What makes you laugh? Who puts the sparkle in your eyes? What is your most favorite thing to do at home with your family?

How it works:

1. Email me at [email protected] for pricing and availability.

2. Talk to your family about what you would like captured. Sessions are 2-3 hours in your home. Think about what time of day is best. Keep in mind nap schedules, feedings, etc.

3. Secure date with deposit.

4. Once your personalized shoot is over it will take up to 2 weeks to get your images. I will release ALL edited hi-res photos with full printing rights.

5. Enjoy your "Typical Tuesday" forever.

The following set of pictures show a family on a typical day of the week. The mom and kids are home, daddy walks through the front door from work, the parents talk about their days while they cook and then they pray and eat together. They are all in their happy place and it shows. It's just a typical day, but it's their perfect day.

FALL 2015 MINI SESSIONS!! I am offering 30 minute sessions for $150. This includes the session and 12 hi-res digital files with a print release. I only have 8 sessions available.
