On this international dark sky week I’d like to share a couple photos I took last year around my birthday. Big Bend was definitely worth it. It was the hardest thing I did in years hiking over 25 mi in 2 days. The initial hike was killer because I had to hike it twice because I could carry everything to the campsite.
The house photo was in Terlingua where we stayed before we made the drive home.

Last year started my tradition of getting away from the city and back to nature for my birthday. Last year was Big Bend this year Petite Jean State Park.
